this collective show of his work made me realise how much i love him

his world of whimsical meets cheeky meets sexy is something to really be admired

i hear you calling

Flik Hall SS12

about a week ago i went to the evening preview of flik hall's spring summer collection

she told me this new work is based on sea life - octopi more specifically 

this reads very well throughout the whole collection - with the soft leathers, the eyelets and strong prints

as a relatively new designer flik's work is getting stronger and stronger with every fresh collection 

this being by far the most sophisticated and developed

the ability to maintain structure in the designs along with an etherial edge shows how versatile the pieces are

by far one of my favourite pieces was the leather playsuit in the first image - with its beautiful colour and print onto the soft leather, and eyelet detailing - reminiscent of the octopi tentacles
