handmade skirt & knitted top

here is a knitted top i did for my latest project as a development piece

it was inspired by harbours and coastlines

the fold on the sleep and the open shoulders came from the shapes and stretching of the boat tarpaulin

the low dipping scooped back imitated the shape of the weights on the sides of the boats

its hand knitted in a silver grey

went to see the lcf fashion and illusion exhibition sunday

although it was very small, it was well worth the visit
