tattoo your name across my heart

i miss all my friends! :(
i became accustomed to constantly being surrounded by laughter and entertainment
now i'm lucky if i can go five minutes alone without getting bored

i'm keeping myself busy by flat hunting, drawing and going out for lunch, and of course taking photos for my beloved blog

i'm loving this jumper i found in whistles
the loose knit means i can wear it in the summer, and i've been pairing it with a lot recently
here i'm wearing it with my barbara hulanicki for topshop culottes - the print is so pretty and delicate
this is such an easy and comfy outfit to wear, everything just sits on top of everything else
and fits just right, with different textures

i'll be blogging a lot this week, so stay tuned!
xoxo

who are you?

some of you have asked how i made the 'karl who?' t-shirt, so here's a quick how to
i started off by printing this karl who? the size i wanted it on the tshirt
then i traced it onto the tshirt and carefully painted it using black acrylic
acrylic is good as it doesn't wash off and i didn't have any fabric paint to hand

next time i do a DIY i'll take pictures as i go along

i'm back!
morocco was amazing
my next post will be a whole mash up of things; including outfits, morocco and how i made the 'karl who?' tshirt in this post

on return i'm pretty sick - so i've just really been catching up with sleep and friends,
and packing for my next trip
i leave on wednesday - but i'll post before then
i've tried to cram in as much as i possibly can this holiday in terms of travel and really establishing this blog because i start at central saint martins in september
just the prospect of it is so exciting
i hope to go on to do fashion - so here's hoping!

goodbye yesterday's rags, hello high fashion

exams are OVER.
it's the best feeling ever, i can really do whatever i want in life now
and this starts tomorrow, with going to morocco

i decided to DIY this top, and i really like the way it turned out
i'm also loving this denim gillet
i picked it up from the sample rack in reiss - it was used for a press release, so i was pretty excited to find it
i paired it with these randals buckles wedges i got off of asos
i've always been a fan of pairing pretty with harsh, that's why i was instantly drawn to these
the soft creaminess of the leather adorned with plenty of straps and buckles

although i'm missing the layers of winter, i am really enjoying this summers trends
i've never packed so many maxi dresses and skirts for one holiday
aside from being for modesty i'm loving the bohemian feel
i'll be sure to do plenty of outfit posts and photos from morocco

thanks to all my followers!
and have a lovely holiday all
xoxo
